From Chaos to Clarity
The research provided a starting point for me to develop a visual framework that allowed me to focus on Bespin's needs including:
A dual-navigation system incorporating a public-facing menu and an internal portal to give Airmen access to resources associated with BESPIN.
Pages dedicated to applications under BESPIN since there seemed to be no clarity as to which applications focused on what and how Airmen can get involved.
A layout that organizes the rich content into easily digestible, and approachable sections.

Bespin, the Brand
The final website allows Airmen to stay updated on events and achievements within the BESPIN initiative. It also provides direct contact information for application managers and leadership. Each application has its own web page highlighting its key features. For the geographically dispersed team, the new website serves as a shared space to celebrate successes and feel connected to the overarching mission of BESPIN.
Unfortunately, due to limited resources and constraints, we had to launch a beta version of the site first before moving forward with the approved design full of rich features supported by our research and users. This included the dual-navigation system and several pages within the navigation.
While the beta version of the site was launched in 2020, we continued working with the BESPIN team to expand their branding. We built out their logo, UI design system, marketing materials, and swag that are still utilized to this day.
